Welcome to ICADV’s Webinar Library!
The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is a not for profit, membership
organization that works to eliminate domestic violence throughout Illinois. Through
their mission they work to ensure the safety of domestic violence survivors, increase
their access to services, and their freedom of choice. While holding abusers accountable
for the violence they perpetrate; and encouraging the development of victim-sensitive
laws, policies and procedures across all systems that impact survivors.
ICADV has offered trainings on domestic violence issues since 1981. Through our
training initiative we strengthen local domestic violence service programs by conducting
statewide trainings. We coordinate numerous trainings every year on a wide variety
of topics, always focusing on current trends or pertinent issues in the domestic
violence field. We will continue to develop additional online courses as new issues
and trends arise. If you would like to know more about our in-person trainings,
visit our website at www.ilcadv.org.
ICADV is a provider of continuing education (CE) for Illinois Certified Domestic
Violence Professionals (ICDVP), Certified Partner Abuse Intervention Professional's
(CPAIP), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) and Licensed Clinical
Social Workers (LCSW). CE’s are offered at nearly all trainings hosted by ICADV.

The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is offering a series of web-based courses featuring domestic violence topics that in part meet the 40 hour domestic violence training requirement needed for most domestic violence advocates who work in a full service domestic violence program.
Once you have completed your profile, the program will store your information for future web-based ICADV events.
The 5 modules listed below are available for viewing within a designated time frame that allows for the 3-5 in-person review components that go hand in hand with the online delivery. These modules A through E can be viewed in any order. To register for the first module, click on any of the Module A through Module E Links.
ICADV is accredited through the Illinois State Board of Regulations to provide four continuing education units for LCPC’s and LCSW’s for each module upon completion.
This web-based domestic violence foundation course was funded in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services. (Bureau of Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention).
