Welcome to ICADV's Training Events Site. The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is a not for profit, membership organization that envisions a statewide community committed to exposing the root causes of domestic abuse and ensuring safety for families by supporting the voice of all survivors. Through its mission, ICADV works to build networks of support for and with survivors of domestic violence, and advances statewide policies and practices that transform societal attitudes and institutions to eliminate and prevent domestic abuse.

ICADV has offered trainings on domestic violence issues since 1981. Through our training initiative, we strengthen local domestic violence service programs by conducting statewide and regional trainings as well as webinars. We coordinate numerous trainings every year on a wide variety of topics, always focusing on current trends or pertinent issues in the domestic violence field. We will continue to develop additional online courses and webinars as new issues and trends arise. You can find out more about our in-person trainings on our events calendar.

ICADV is a provider of continuing education units (CEUs) for Certified Domestic Violence Professionals (CDVP), Certified Partner Abuse Intervention Professionals (CPAIP), and Licensed Social Workers/Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LSW/LCSW). CEUs are offered at nearly all trainings hosted by ICADV.
